How Do You Import Music Into Windows Media Player?
Follow these easy steps to build your music library. Go to the Start menu and select “All Programs.” Find and click the “Windows Media Player” icon. If you see a classic menu at the top of the player (with tabs like “File,” “View,” “Play,” “Tools” and “Help”), proceed to step 3. Right-click at the top of your Windows Media Player. From here, a small menu will pop up. Scroll down and select “Show Classic Menus.” Click on “File,” and scroll down to “Add to Library.” Select the folders you would like Windows Media Player to scan for files and click “OK.” From here, all available music files will be added to your library. To add music on CDs, simply pop the CD into your computer. Once Windows Media Player recognizes it, click the “Rip” tab, and it will copy the CD into your library.
