There is, however, a need from time to time to import spreadsheet data into a website. This may be a foreign process for those with no history with various spreadsheet applications. Importing spreadsheets in Dreamweaver CS3 can be done in 6 steps. Create the file in a format that is accessible in Dreamweaver. This means the spreadsheet must be saved in a delimited format. For most users, saving the file in CSV format is the easiest way to do this. In Excel, for example, there is a format option when saving a file with a drop down box that allows the user to choose CSV. Choose File, Import and Tabular Data in a new or existing file in Dreamweaver. The user will be asked to enter the name of the file desired for import.
