How Do You Implement Clothes Dryer Repair?
Dryer repair may not be 100% simple, but most of the time, it pays to save money and do the work yourself. Whether your dryer makes noise, doesn’t dry adequately, or simply stopped running, there are a few simple things you can do before you spend big bucks and hire a professional for dryer repair. Check the circuit breakers that run the dryer. On many electric dryers, there are 2 breakers that run the appliance. If 1 works, and 1 has blown, the motor will run, but the heater will not. Go ahead and replace both breakers. Unplug the dryer. There is absolutely no reason to have it plugged in while performing dryer repair. Disconnect the power for your safety. If you don’t know what the plug looks like, it is a large, round plug behind the dryer. Remove the panel on the front of the dryer, underneath the door. On some models, you will need a screw driver to remove a few screws. On others, the panel simply wedges it’s self in, and you just need to pry a bit. Vacuum inside this compartment
