How Do You Ignore Windows Boot Manager?
If you install a second operating system, the boot manager prompts you to choose an operating system each time you turn on the machine. If you do not want to use the other operating system and ignore the boot manager, you can make the boot process skip the boot manager when you turn on the machine. This setting is made in an application called MS Config. MS Config controls startup features for your Windows machine. Click the Windows Start button and select “Run.” Enter “msconfig” into the text box and press the “Ok” button. This opens the MS Config application. Click the “Boot” tab. In the list of operating systems, click the one you want to always boot and press “Set as Default.” In the “Timeout” text box, enter 0. This causes the machine to skip the boot manager. Press the “Ok” button. The MS Config application has a popup to prompt you to restart. Press “Restart” to reboot the machine. The next time you boot the machine, the machine ignores the boot manager.
