Influenza is categorized as A, B, or C. Although all exhibit the same symptoms, Type B influenza is milder than type A. Most notable, the fever is of sudden onset, often accompanied by chills. Be on guard for any respiratory symptoms of Yamagata influenza that may develop. These are described as a dry, hacking cough. However, sore throat and runny nose are also symptoms. Take note of any weakness and lethargy and sometimes, extreme tiredness, which are also symptoms of Type B
