The Club Cadet tractor, the first item in that line, earned a reputation for sturdiness and reliability. Its advantages included childproof safety. The company’s advertisements reflected its pride in the equipment they boasted as tested by “boys–acknowledged by many as the world’s worst destructive force!” Even the best equipment needs repairs at times, however. When you need to repair your Club Cadet tractor, you’ll need to know its serial number. Locate the model plate by picking up the seat and looking at the seat bracket.
