How do you identify a black ghost fish pair?
From my research the Black Ghost Knife fish (Apteronotus albifrons) has not been bred in captivity and there is apparently no noticeable sexual dimorphism. So I guess the only way to sex them will be to actually grow some to full size (Over 24 inches) and hope to eventually observe a pair spawning. Then, if a spawning takes place, the one that lays the eggs will definately be the female.
