How Do You Hook Up VHS Recorder To Computer?
Connecting a VHS recorder (VCR) to a computer requires an analog-to-digital converter box available at electronics stores and online retailers. The box transforms analog data from the VCR into a digital format your computer can understand. Now you can transfer all those old VHS home movies to your computer for editing and burning to a DVD, or you can transfer video files from your computer to the VCR for recording on a VHS tape. Once you have the converter, connecting the equipment takes only a minute. Turn off all equipment. Plug the RCA cables into the output jacks on the back of the VCR. The yellow plug connects to the video input; white and red plugs connect to the left and right audio jacks.
