Kenwood surround sound systems offer a home theater in a box. Most Kenwood systems come with a DVD player built into the receiver, with speakers for surround sound. Adding a TV completes the package. Kenwood surround sound receivers are also equipped with extra jacks for hooking up other audio-video components, including a personal computer. With an S-video cable and an adapter for standard audio cables, the PC can become a part of the home entertainment system for enjoying web content on a TV with multi-channel audio. Connect the S-video cable from the socket on the computer tower (or along the back edge of a laptop) to the S-video input on the Kenwood surround sound receiver.
