How Do You Hook Up An RCA LCD HDTV Home Theater System?
RCA is one of the oldest and most trusted names in television manufacturing, dating back to 1939. Among RCA’s current models are LCD HDTVs that make ideal centerpieces for home entertainment systems. And, though RCA does not currently (as of July 2010) produce home theater stereo systems to accompany the HDTV, the TVs are designed to be connected to home theater systems (and other components) from other manufacturers to route digital video and audio to and from the TV. Determine where within the room you wish to place the RCA TV and other audio/video components. Ideally, select a spot near the cable and electrical outlets (with surge protector or power strip where devices outnumber outlets) and with room for the entertainment center or other furniture/stands the components will be placed on. Determine and purchase the video and audio cables that will be used to connect the TV to the home theater receiver and other components, including cable/satellite receiver and DVD/Blu-Ray player. H
