All computers come with a VGA output port, which is needed to connect your computer to a computer monitor. Although many TVs are not equipped with VGA input port, you can use an adapter cable to make a VGA cable compatible with your TV. Plug the VGA end of the VGA to RCA video cable into your computer’s VGA port. The VGA port is a 15-pin socket that is usually blue. Plug the opposite end of the VGA to RCA video cable into your TV’s video input port. This port is round and yellow. Plug the 3.5 mm to RCA audio cable into your computer’s headphone jack.
