How Do You Honor 9/11 With The Global Security Week?
Global Security Week, a non-profit organization that seeks to promote security and safety issues, asks volunteers representing both companies and communities to hold events during the week that precedes 9/11 every year. By contacting Global Security Week and organizing an event for your company or community, you will help to promote the idea of a safer, more secure world. Honor 9/11 by rescheduling any existing security programs you might have in either your company or community to coincide with Global Security Week (GSW) and use GSW promotional materials to cross-promote your event. The goal of GSW is to simply refocus your security and safety programs or events in the week prior to 9/11 in order to take advantage of increased media attention during that time period. Consider donating your skills rather than money to help the Global Security Week further its cause. Plan your security-based event well in advance in order to take advantage of special promotional materials that GSW offer
