How Do You Hold A Tactical Shotgun?
Holding your tactical shotgun correctly will help to ensure that you hit your target accurately and consistently. Tactical shotguns are great for home defense and recreational shooting, and properly holding your tactical shotgun is vital when firing so that you do not unintentionally harm yourself or others. Pick up your shotgun by the handle next to the trigger guard. Place your other hand beneath the barrel on the hand grip. Bring the shotgun up to shoulder height and place the shotgun on your shoulder tightly. Rest your cheek low on the butt of the shotgun so that you are looking down the top of the barrel. Look down the top of the barrel so that your eyes line up with the sights. Your shooting eye should look over the barrel at the target. Place your feet shoulder-width apart. Relax and control your breathing. Follow the target with your eyes. Move the shotgun with your arms and your shoulder.
