Once you’ve made the decision to hire a private investigator, take the proper steps to ensure you get the right person for the job. Hiring a P.I. does not have to be a difficult process but you do have to be smart about it since it probably won’t be an inexpensive service. FIND A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR: Search the internet or the phone book to hire private investigator. In the phone book look under several listings such as “Investigators,” “Private Detectives” or “Private Investigators.” On the internet you can do a search for your city such as, “Houston Private Investigator” or “McAllen Private Investigator”. Get the phone number of different PIs. You don’t want to just hire the first one that pops up. START CALLING THEM: You will be calling the private investigators to decide which one is best for the job.
