How Do You Hike Sugarland Creek Trail In Smoky Mountain National Park?
The Great Smoky Mountains National Park boasts over 800 miles of trails that vary in difficulty for hikers. The Sugarlands Valley Nature Trail is a relaxing way to explore the beauty of the woods without venturing far off the road. It is an easy, well maintained paved trail. As one of the most accessible trails, it is convenient for handicapped visitors also. Take Exit 407 from I-40 out of Knoxville, Tennessee to TN 66 South. Follow US 441 through Sevierville, Gatlinburg and into the national parkway. Check in at the Sugarland Visitors Center for trail maps and hiking advisories. Driving past the Sugarland Visitor Center you will note several quiet walkways. Watch on the left for Sugarland Valley Nature Trail. There is enough parking for 4 to 6 vehicles.
