Change can be really difficult for people with Asperger’s Syndrome (AS). Having a routine and knowing what to expect each day can be very comforting. Sometimes change happens unexpectedly, and is therefore harder to plan and prepare for, but some changes can be planned for well in advance. One of the changes all teenagers must deal with is the change from middle school to high school. While this transition can be hard on any teen, it can be especially difficult for the teen with Asperger’s Syndrome. So what can the caring adults in the AS Teens life do to help?
