How Do You Help A Toddler Make A Festive Holiday Fruit Bowl?

The holidays are a great time to help your child develop his or her artistic talents and create fun crafts projects. Get some plastic or Styrofoam fruit from a crafts store or dime/dollar store. Coat the entire fruit ‘ except for the stem ‘ with tacky glue, using a small paintbrush (you will need to do this for your child). Let your child hold the fruits by the stem and dip them into metallic glitter, confetti or crushed potpourri, then lay them on a sheet of waxed paper to dry. Arrange the pretty fruits in a bowl when the glue has set.
