How do you heat water past boiling point with out the water boiling?

Just a guess. Water will boil at a lower temperature at high altitude because of the low air pressure. So my guess is that under high air pressure water will start to boil when it’s way above 100 Celsius, which means at 100 it will be hot, but not “bubbling”.
