Of particular note in the area is the Oglebay Resort, one of the nation’s largest municipal parks. Located just outside of Wheeling off I-70, the park encompasses a golf course, zoo, ski resort, museum, mansion, and many other attractions. The Good Zoo features a number of endangered animal species including: spectacled bears, African wild dogs, red pandas, an ocelot, and many others.
