How Do You Have Fun At Givens Hot Springs, Idaho?
Givens Hot Springs is an historic resort in southwestern Idaho, less than 50 miles from Boise. Archaeologists have found evidence of occupation going back at least 4,500 years. Seduced by the beautiful country, the hunting and fishing, and the abundant natural hot water, the Givens family abandoned the Oregon Trail in 1879 to make their home in southwest Idaho. There have been many changes in amenities since then, but the area is still a popular destination for family campers and bathers. Swimming is available in the indoor hot springs pool. Available accommodations include rustic cabins or trailers, and tent or RV camping in three parks. Fishing is available in the nearby Snake River. Call for pool hours before arriving. There is a fee for swimming. Call ahead for reservations if you plan to camp or want to rent a cabin or trailer. RV and dry camping are available year round, tent camping and trailer rentals are available only in warm weather. Fees for camping vary. Bring your own kit
