• You must have a tidy room. Look through all of your boxes, bookshelves and in your closet and throw out the old, damaged things and give the useable ones to charities , or maybe even some friends. • First, re-paint or wallpaper your walls. Paint should really be in pale, soft colours like pale pink, green, blue or maybe even white or cream. For wallpaper, choose a stripey or ones with an accent pattern in them. It may be better to hire a decorator to do it, because if you make a mess, your parents may get mad. • For your floors, choose a beige or neutral carpet, or varnished/waxed wood floors. • Once your room has been de-cluttered, re-arrange or have your parents buy new furniture. White wood is really good. If you have unvarnished wood furniture in your room, ask if you can paint it white. Daybeds are really cool too. So is that French-like style of furniture.
