Don’t forget odds and ends like paper products and pet supplies. Estimate your December income. Subtract your bills and expenses from your estimated December income. Add back in any Christmas savings you’ve manage to save threw out the year. In our house we save change from Jan to December to contribute to the Christmas expense. The amount left will give you a good idea of what you need to do about the money alotted for spending limit on Christmas. If the amount that’s left over is to low see if there’s expense areas that can be lowered. I don’t suggest cutting money on groceries on regular basis but for the month of December I do try to make lower priced meals to save on the budget.
