Wooden shoe shelves are a convenient way to organize multiple pairs of shoes in a relatively small space. These shelves can often be placed on the floor of an entrance way, pantry, or closet. However, you may want your shoes to be completely out of the way. If you want your shoes off the floor, but you wear them too often to store them away in the back of your closet, the best solution may be to hang your wood shoe shelves. Use a stud finder to locate the studs in the area where you want to hang your shelf. Use a pencil to mark a small spot on the wall where you plan to hang each bracket. The spot should be over the studs you located with the stud finder. Use a level to make sure the points are even. If you don’t have a level, use a measuring tape to measure the space between each point and the floor. The measurements should be equal for each point.
