How Do You Hang Swag Curtains With Fringe Edge?
Swag curtains add elegance to the décor of any room. Hanging swags with fringe sewn onto one side may be difficult to arrange so they look nice in the window. If you buy a swag curtain with fringe, you want to hang them so you can see the fringe. Install your curtain rod. Use rod holders that set the curtain out a few inches from the wall to give you room to arrange your swag. Lay your swag on a large, flat surface. Start at the top of your curtain. Fold 4-inch layers of the curtain back and forth kind of like you would if making a paper fan. Continue working all the way down to the bottom of the swag where the fringe is. Do not fold up the fringe. Clip the folds of the swag with the clothespins. Place several clothespins along the edges of the folds at the front and back of the swag to make moving the swag to the curtain rod a little easier.
