A canopy bed is a striking focal point in any bedroom. With bedding and drapery fabric in bold colors, a canopy bed can transform a humble bedroom into something unforgettable. A canopy bed has a large frame around it that extends to the ceiling. Curtains are hung from this frame. These draperies can be either heavy fabric or something lighter. Draperies are hung from a canopy bed the same way draperies are hung at a window. Steam-iron the draperies carefully so that when they are hung they will be smooth and neat. Observe the drapery rods located on the inside of the canopy bed frame. Remove the rods from the brackets and carefully slide the pressed draperies onto the rods.
