How Do You Hang A Picture With A Soda Can Tab?

0

Got a lightweight framed picture of poster to hang, but missing the nail hook on the back of the frame? Soda can tabs make this task surprisingly easy. For light objects, they can replace the bracket or wire usually found on the back of frames to loop over a nail. Wash and dry the soda can tabs to ensure they don’t have any stickiness on them from the beverage. This could make a mess and attract insects. Turn over the framed picture so that it is face down. If the frame is small, put one soda can tab in the center of the top part of the frame. If the frame is large, put a soda can tab in each of the top corners of the frame. Arrange the tab so that the large hole is on top and the small hole (used to attach the tab to the top of the can) is on the bottom. Drive a very small nail or tack through the small hole with a hammer. Be sure to tap the nail lightly with the hammer and that the nail is going into the wooden part of the frame so that the art isn’t damaged. Bend the top of the tabs
