How Do You Handle And Remove A Red Wine Stain On Carpet?
SPLASH! Uh Oh…Red Wine from your glass has just spilled and you don’t know what to do. Here are some simple tips to help remove that stubborn Red Wine stain. Immediately, add some cold water to the spot on the carpet. Blot it well and the stain should begin to lift out of the carpet. Repeat Step One until you feel the stain is lifted to the best of your ability. Now take some water and mix it with Baking Soda. Begin to apply this mixture to the stained area. I suggest leaving it on for approx 15 minutes or so to let it set in. Take a vacuum and suck up the Baking Soda and hopefully the stain is very faint or best yet, gone. I know sometimes it is difficult to remove this sort of stain, but I have used this method before and it seemed to work on my carpets.
