How Do You Handle A Bus Load Of Unruly Children?
1. Game: Go through the alphabet with each kid naming an animal or something that can be found in a grocery store or toy store. For instance: person 1 says apple, then person 2 would say that one plus add a b: apple, banana. Then person 3 has to say the other 2 plus add one: apple, banana, cookies. 2. Another alphabet game: Name someone famous (no fictional characters). If someone said Angelina Jolie, the next person has to name someone whose first name starts with the first letter of the last name, J: Jimmy Carter, then the next person might choose Charles Schultz, and the next Sam Elliott, etc. 3. You could also do a roadside scavenger hunt for a small prize. Give each child a list of things to find on the way: a For Sale sign, a purple car, a black dog, (pick things that are a little harder to find).
