How Do You Hand To Eye Coordination Baseball Skills?

0

This drill focuses primarily on the baseball skills of going after a ball on the ground, which is a scenario often encountered whether you are guarding a base or are out in the field. The drill begins with both players standing face to face with each other approximately 8 to 10 feet apart. The player with the ball rolls the ball at a fairly rapid pace towards one side of the receiving player, who moves in a lateral position all the while bent slightly forward in order to catch the ball. The receiving player then throws the ball back to the throwing player and returns to the center position. The throwing player then rolls the ball quickly in the opposite direction. The receiving player repeatedly goes back and forth in a lateral motion depending on which way the ball goes, always making sure to return to the center position after throwing the ball back.
