How Do You Grow Lucky Bamboo Plants?

0

Lucky Bamboo plants are one of the easiest house plants to grow! If you are one of those people that kill houseplants by overwatering, these are for you! These beautiful plants from the Dracaena family are a wonderful addition to any home. Lucky Bamboo is best grown in about an inch of water. Select the container you use carefully, ensure you can maintain the roots under water. Indirect sunlight is important for growth of Lucky Bamboo also. Do not put it in direct sunlight as this will turn the leaves yellow. The selection of your container is important here as well. Expose as much of the plant as possible to indirect sun. Change the water weekly. Fresh water will help the plant grow and bud leaves beautifully. If the leaves are suddenly turning yellow and the plant is out of direct sunlight, the problem is probably a high content of fluoride or salt in the water. Use a purified water to help correct the color.
