How Do You Grow Indoor Cooking Herbs,Like Basil,Lemon Grass,What Are The Easiest Herbs To Grow???

The herbs that have been easiest to grow indoors for me are basil, dill, lemon grass, rosemary, garlic chives lemon balm and chocolate mint. I have a south facing window in my kitchen that gets lots of sun. They usually thrive there with very little effort. I have to ck the water almost daily because of the heat when the sun shines. I usually grow them there all winter from starts out of my herb garden and then in late spring I plant them outside in the herb garden. I usually just plant them in miracle grow garden soil and trim them often by using them to cook with. Good luck.
