How Do You Grow Green Beans In A Plastic Baggie?
Anxious to start a garden, but feel as if you have a black thumb? Any one can grow green beans. This is a simple way to start a garden seedling and develop your gardening skills at the same time. This technique is so simple, my son and his classmates did this as a 1st grade science project! Place the dried green bean seeds in the small plastic baggie. Fold the paper towel so it fits neatly in the plastic baggie and the baggie is still able to close. Add just enough water to the baggie so the paper towel is completely wet but no extra water is sitting in the baggie. Lay the baggie flat and arrange the beans on the paper towel so they are not touching each other. Zip the plastic baggie half-way closed and lay it flat in a warm location. It does not need to be in the sun, but sunlight will cause the beans to sprout faster.
