How Do You Grow Grape Tomatoes From A Grape Tomato?
Growing your own tomatoes is very fun! You no longer have to search for the perfect seeds. Instead, save a few grape tomatoes for your next growing season. Store your grape tomatoes in the refrigerator until you’re ready to plant them. They may spoil a little, but this actually helps for some reason. Prepare your soil to receive the entire grape tomato. Squish it with your fingers and try to separate some of the pulp, if possible. Stick the whole thing in the ground and cover with dirt. Not too deep–maybe about 1 inch. Water your tomatoes everyday. In a few days you will see a bunch of seedlings pop up. When they big enough to grab, spread out your tomato plants. Continue to water, fertilize and remove weeds. When your plants get about 12 inches high, use something to support it–a tomato cage or three sticks forming a teepee. Secure your plant to the cage. After some time, you’ll be picking grape tomatoes for your salad. Enjoy!
