How Do You Grow Dreadlocks And Baby Locs?
Dreadlocks can be a versatile hairstyle. There are a number of ways to grow and style dreadlocks. Both dreadlocks and “baby locs” are two styles where your hair is parted in sections and your hair is either twisted in place or “back combed”. Part your hair in sections of small squares using a comb. The sections can be one to two inches apart. Part it in the section size that you would like to see your “dreaded” hair grow into. Hold the sections with a rubber band or a hair clip to temporarily hold your hair in place as you do the dread style. Beginning at the scalp, comb the hair backwards to the scalp. This method is called back combing. Once you have combed your hair backwards your hair should start to gather or come together at the roots. Back comb to the end of your hair. A dread will form. Be sure to hold the hair tight to hold the hair tightly together to form the dread style. Repeat to other sections of your hair until you have completed styled your hair in “dreads”. Another met
