By growing cucumbers in hanging baskets, whether it is a regular basket or in an upside down basket, frees up the garden area and provides an easy way to harvest the multitude of cucumbers easier. Consider the type of basket you plan to use. Baskets are available in a variety of styles. Plastic plant hangers, wire baskets, upside down planters or terra cotta planters are ideal. For typical hanging baskets, use seeds or seedling plants. If you plan to use an upside down container, use seedling plants only.
