I use my vegetable garden as a place to unwind after a stressful day. A sunny area is the best spot in most places, Unless you live in hot states like Florida, than your best choice is a shaded area. Than pick the vegetable you are going to grow according to the area you live in or in my case the vegetables I like. Move your soil around so that it is loose, before you start planting or putting seeds in. Vegetables such as tomatoes or peppers can be started in little starting kits or small pots inside the house up to six weeks before they can be planted outside.
