How Do You Grow A Meyer Lemon Tree?
Learn how to start and grow your own fragrant Meyer Lemon Trees, native to China. The flowers when they blossom, are white with a purple base and smell wonderful. After you squeeze your Meyer Lemon’s out for their juice, save the rind, the pulp and the seeds. These steps outline how to start them indoors in a sunny window. Prepare a small or medium terra cotta pot with potting soil. Take the rind, the pulp, and the seeds and place them on the soil in the pot. You may want to space out the seeds about 2-3 inches from one another, but be sure to include some of the rind and the pulp into the soil as well, with the seeds. Cover it all with about 2 more inches of soil, and water well. Keep soil moist but not soggy until you see your baby lemon trees coming up. You will want to transplant your trees to larger pots eventually. Water them a little less during winter.
