How Do You Grip An Offset Golf Club?
A proper grip on the golf club can make the difference between a good golf shot and a poorly executed one. Some players who have a tendency to slice the ball will use offset golf clubs to help correct the problem. You do not need to change your grip between regular and offset golf clubs as long as you do it properly. Place the golf club on the ground as if you were ready to strike the ball. Take your right hand off the club so only your left hand is touching the grip. Grip the club with your left hand. Make sure the grip is mostly in your fingers and not in your palms. Your left thumb should be pointing straight down. Interlock your right pinkie finger and your left forefinger while keeping the grip in the fingers of your right hand. Close the grip of your right hand so your left thumb is between the grip and your right fingers. Make sure your right thumb is not running straight down the golf club. It should be pointed just slightly toward your right shoulder. Now swing away.
