How do you grab power in a democracy, without winning an election to sort out illegal immigration?
Read your history. Adolph Hitler overthrew a democracy to seize power. Lenin and his successors became virtuosos artists at overthrowing democratically elected governments. There are too many examples of military generals seizing power in Latin America, Africa and Asia to cite. In the middle east the new democracies are fragile and at risk. Many of the experiments in dictatorship ended badly. In all cases where democracy was lost, the country involved did not have a long tradition of democracy. Britain has a long very tradition of democracy and will not suffer fools that want to interfere with that tradition. Try moving to a less stable country.
