The Chicago Blues Festival, held each year for four days during June, is one of the largest blues festivals in the United States. Founded in 1984, it draws more than 700,000 visitors each year and attracts the most celebrated performers from the blues genre. The event is held in downtown Chicago’s Grant Park. Purchase tickets. Tickets to the Chicago Blues Festival are available via the Festival’s website or at Ticketmaster outlets. Daily passes are available as are all-festival passes. Take public transportation. No parking is available right at, or in the area around, Grant Park during the Blues Festival. Avoid having to walk for blocks and pay high-priced downtown parking rates by taking public transportation.
