The resort is located in the Catskill Mountain range near Woodstock and Kingston, New York. Sawkill specifically designed the area with snowboarders, novice skiers and snow-tubers in mind. Though the area features a 70-foot vertical drop and a 1,000-foot-long run, the terrain park is currently undergoing major improvements to keep the freestyle boarders, skiers and ski boarders challenged.. The resort offers 3 trails and 1 rope tow lift to access the park’s 4 skiable acres. The Sawkill Center’s snowmaking facility provides snow on the slopes from December to March.
