How Do You Go Camping At The Lassen Volcanic National Park?
A camping trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park in Northern California will give you a chance to explore peaceful forests while catching a glimpse of the powerful volcanic forces of nature lying just below. As you wander the park’s 150 miles of hiking trails, you’ll encounter steaming ground, hissing fumaroles, and pockets of boiling mud. Lassen Peak, which last erupted in 1915, is the largest of the park’s 30-plus volcanic domes. Plan ahead: How long do you plan to be out camping? When do you want to camp?
