How Do You Glue A PVC Kitchen Sink Drain?

This project is intended to get rid of those leaky pipes under your sink. The pipes may be cracked, corroded or have something else wrong with them, but there has to be some way to get rid of the smell of mildew under the sink. After completing this project, you can be sure your kitchen sink will be as good as new. Measure the amount of pipe you will need from the fitting at the end of the pipe to the elbow joint. Use masking tape to wrap around the PVC pipe. Trace a line with a pencil or marker against the edge of the tape. Remove the tape. Cut along the pencil mark with the hack saw. Clean the edges with your utility knife, and use sandpaper to get rid of burs. Fit the pipe and elbow joint together before gluing. Make sure their lengths are correct.
