How Do You Give Yourself Beautiful Hands?
Once upon a time, I had a best friend. Her name was Dorothy, and she worked in her home as a freelance seamstress. I met her while I was selling Christmas cards. We became good friends although I was thirteen years old and she was sixty-seven. She taught me lots of good things that I use to this day. She had soft, graceful looking hands even though they were worn and wrinkled. Her rose colored, oval-shaped fingernails were always well kept and clean. She never covered them with nail polish, and they were very pretty. They were strong and had some length, but they were not too long to be practical, and they made her hands seem even more graceful. The years had not been allowed to steal everything from her.
