There are many ways in which you can help the needy. It’s not always necessary to spend money to help them. You can help them with things that you already possess. The most important thing that they expect is your time and concern, which you can easily give. There are many organizations which work for and serve needy people such as orphans, widows, people in crisis and others. Christian Life Assembly is one such organization which helps the people in need and tries to make their condition favorable to live. They believe that it is one of the ways of getting closer to God.
You can help the needy without squeezing your pocket book. Their are many individuals out there that have no food, shelter or clothing. Some of these people live on the streets with no where to go and no family to turn to. Today it’s a struggle to survive in this world. Many available funding has been cut; so it’s up to each of us to help each other. You may be having difficulties making ends meet yourself; but we still have to help each other. Reaching out and giving just a little; does make a tremendous difference in someone’s life. Go through your closet and bag any clothing you no longer want. Possibly you have extra blankets you no longer need; bag these blankets. Drop off clothing at your nearest clothing drop box. These drop boxes are all over the place. Possibly you can drop off clothing at any Catholic Charities Organization near you. Volunteer your time at soup kitchens or any church that is offering free meals. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
