A performance evaluation can be an excellent way to deliver feedback to employees about their job performance and how well they are doing in meeting their goals. Feedback should be delivered on a consistent basis within set guidelines so the employee knows what to expect. Schedule a meeting with the employee to discuss the performance evaluation. Make sure the employee has sufficient time to gather information about how he’s met his goals and improved his weaknesses since the last review.
