How Do You Get White Clothes Whiter?
Doesn’t it really stink when you pull your freshly bleached socks out of the washer and they have a yellowish tint? Stop doing it! You do not need bleach in order to get your white clothes whiter. There’s a better way…and the best part is, it’s a whole lot cheaper and safer to use! It’s vinegar and baking soda, yup that’s right, the same stuff in your salad dressing and cakes. They not only help to get your white clothes whiter, they sanitize and clean the material at the same time! Start your washing machine with cold water. Add the recommended amount of laundry detergent to the water. Pour 1/2 cup of white vinegar into the water and then add the baking soda near the water spout to ensure it gets broken up. Add the white clothes to the washing machine and wash as usual. Hang the clothes to dry on the line or on clothing racks.
