How Do You Get Water Spots Off A Laminated Wood Floor?
Laminate flooring is a cheaper, inexpensive version of wood flooring. It looks like wood, but it ages better and is easier to install. However, like wood it can stain if you leave water sitting on the flooring for an extended period of time. The sitting water can leave lighter spots on the laminate wood floor, but there is a way to remove the water spots without completely replacing the laminate piece. Clean off the laminated wood floor by rubbing a soft rag over the area with the water spots. Thoroughly dry off the floor. Dip a clean rag into vinegar and work it into the flooring. Rub constantly in small circular motions. Dry up the vinegar with a clean, dry cloth. You need to make sure the floor is dry, otherwise you may increase the amount of water spots. Apply a small amount of Turtle Wax to the area of the laminated floor where the water spots are. Turtle Wax is typically used for cars but can work on repairing the lamination on the floor also.
