How Do You Get To Grand Targhee Ski Resort From Victor, Driggs Or Tetonia, Idaho?
Teton Valley, Idaho, is often called a bedroom community for Alta, Wyoming, and more specifically for Alta’s claim to fame, Grand Targhee Resort. Cheaper lodging prices and access to basic amenities such as grocery stores and retail shops make Teton Valley the place where powder-hungry tourists make their temporary homes. Driggs, Victor and Tetonia, Idaho (all in Teton Valley) are the three towns where you’re likely to stay if you choose to stay off the mountain. Driggs to Grand Targhee Highway 33, the main route through Driggs, also runs the length of the Valley and is the main thoroughfare for Victor and Tetonia, as well. From anywhere in Driggs, head to the highway. A good point of reference is the Teton Mountain Range, which is east of Driggs. Victor is south along the highway, and Tetonia is north. From the one stoplight in Driggs, turn off Highway 33 onto Little Avenue (or Ski Hill Road). This takes you due east, heading for the Tetons. Continue on this road, crossing the border
