Getting from point A to point B in a new or different city can be challenging, but can also be adventurous and fun. If you are traveling to BWI, but are instead routed to Regan National, here is a quick and fun way to get to BWI from National Airport (DC). Have fun!! Go to Metro Station (located inside National Airport). Purchase fare card – cost is approx. $1.35. Take the Yellow Line from National Airport to Gallery Place (it is the 6th stop). Exit train. Go to the Glenmont side of the platform and take the Red train to Union Station (it is the 2nd stop). Exit train. Go to the Amtrak ticket counter to purchase ticket going to BWI (approx. cost is $6.00). Sit back relax and enjoy the ride. Upon arriving to BWI, exit train. Take shuttle bus to BWI airport and voila!! You have arrived at BWI.
